BLASTVB Lab believes high-quality development should begin long before an athlete is considered “elite.”
Through youth programming, school-based leadership, camps, clinics, and community initiatives, Coach Jordan Screen works with athletes across multiple stages of the volleyball journey — from their first experiences with the game to competitive high school and collegiate preparation.
Our goal is simple:
Create environments where young athletes can learn, compete, build confidence, and discover what they are capable of becoming.

Young athletes do not need pressure to become “elite” immediately.
They need strong fundamentals.
They need opportunities to make mistakes.
They need coaching.
They need encouragement.
And they need to experience what makes volleyball fun.
This program combines structure with positive coaching so athletes can develop confidence while learning the technical foundations they will need as they progress.
Build the foundation. Protect the joy. Raise the standard over time.
This program is a strong fit for:
Every athlete deserves quality instruction at the beginning of her journey — not only after she becomes advanced.
Each athlete should arrive with:

Coach Jordan Screen serves as the Varsity Head Volleyball Coach at Alpharetta High School, bringing her athlete-development philosophy into a competitive team environment.
Leading a high school program requires more than teaching volleyball skills. It requires building standards, developing leaders, managing adversity, creating accountability, and helping athletes understand how their individual responsibilities contribute to something larger than themselves.
Jordan's work at Alpharetta gives her a perspective that extends beyond private training:
She sees what athletes need to develop individually — and what coaches need from them when they enter a competitive team environment.
Technical growth, volleyball IQ, position-specific development, and game transfer.
Clear expectations around effort, preparation, communication, responsibility, and team standards.
Helping young women learn to lead themselves, communicate with others, and contribute beyond their individual performance.
Teaching athletes how to prepare, respond under pressure, handle adversity, and compete consistently.
These are the qualities that turn talented athletes into valuable teammates.
Coaching within both individual-development and team environments allows Jordan to see athlete development from both sides.
At BLASTVB Lab, athletes are not trained simply to perform skills in controlled environments. They are challenged to develop the behaviors, communication, decision-making, and resilience required to transfer those skills into real competition.
The goal is not simply to become more talented.
The goal is to become the athlete coaches trust when the moment gets difficult.
